How each fee works, and what it leaves out
Fees are per person unless a card says otherwise. Nothing here changes after you book.
The first call
About fifteen minutes, free. I speak with each of you separately, then we choose a date that suits both calendars.
One session
Two hours with one mediator for one or two open points. A signed agreement is not part of it, and neither is legal advice for either of you.
A private 15-minute intake call with each of you
Two hours at the table
A one-page summary within two business days
Agreement package
Up to three sessions and a written agreement to take to your lawyers. The fee follows the number of sessions you use. Court filing fees and outside appraisers and accountants are not part of it.

A written memorandum of understanding
One round of edits after your lawyers read it
Another session
For a table that needs another two hours after the first. It counts toward the Agreement package if you move up.
Two more hours with the same mediator
An updated summary within two business days
Sessions canceled more than two business days ahead aren't billed. The first call is free and carries no obligation.
Paid separately
Three costs that sit outside any package
Court filing fees
If an agreement needs to be filed with a court, the filing fee is set by the court and paid by whoever files.
Your own lawyer
You may have one at any point. Their time is billed by them, and I don't recommend or refer you to a particular lawyer.
Outside experts
An appraiser, accountant or financial planner is hired by you and billed by them, and I schedule around their numbers.
