Either person may consult a lawyer at any time, before, during or after mediation. A mediator can't give either of you legal advice about whether to agree.

No promise of an outcome

Past matters don't predict future ones, and each situation is different. Nothing on this site promises that a mediation will settle, or on what terms.

Please don't send confidential information through the contact form or by email before we've spoken. Messages sent this way aren't protected until a mediation has begun.

Fees shown are the fees in effect when the site was written, per person, and don't include court filing fees, outside experts or another lawyer's charges.
